Description
This is a 3d printed component that helps prevent fader slider failure in the DJM-750MKII. Unlike the other DJM mixers, the 750MKII has faders that are soldered directly to the board rather than use a rail system to take the load directly off the fader. One thing that I have noticed in gear repair is that it isn’t uncommon to have a 750MKII with faders broken off. Since there is a small gap between the fader cap, when people mix aggressively, the shaft of the fader can break off at the bottom where all of the force is being exerted when fader is being jammed up or down. This spacer takes up the small gap and provides more surface area under fader cap. The bottom of each has a PFTE tape ensuring it slides nicely.
